1980 E21 with V8 4.4l M62 Engine. £10k

Lovely track biased BMW, I was lucky enough to have a (shagged out) E21 as my first car, £850 it cost me….and as a result I am quite fond of them. This one will be a lot more fun and much faster than my little old 316. Full, weld in roll cage, brake bias and LSD makes this a serious tool.  Linky

1969 GTA Replica. Twinspark. £33k

These really are gorgeous cars, and have massively appreciated in the last few years, the cream of the crop are the GTAs with many GTVs like this being converted in replicas. This one is of a very high standard and sits really well. This is top money, but appears to be in top condition.  Linky

We are selling on behalf of a valued customer this fast road/ track GTA replica with fitted 2.0 Twinspark engine on 45mm Webers & Omex 3-D mapped ignition. The engine was originally built by AH Motorsports to be fitted in a single seater racer & hence was converted to dry-sump. It achieved 200bhp on Adie Hawkins dyno but has since been de-tuned to a very tractable 185-190bhp
An Alfaholics LSD has been fitted to a 4.5 axle by Cloverleaf Transmissions. A bespoke dual-circuit braking system with an adjustable bias valve & vented front discs has been installed. Harvey Bailey suspension, Koni dampers, full roll cage, fuel cell, lightweight battery, bucket seats & harnesses, Lexan windows all fitted. Currently on Alfaholics’ 6×14″ GTA alloys. A second set of alloys with Yokohama Advan 048 tyres is included in the sale.
Photographic record of body restoration (not by us) with aluminium doorskins & GRP bootlid.
£32,500 (private plate not included)

1999 E36 BMW M3 with S54 engine

You might guess, but we are big fans of engine swaps here and this is the first one of these I have ever seen, an E36 M3 with the E46 M3 engine fitted. Looks like a tidy conversion. Reviews for the E36 M3 were never that positive after the E30 but maybe with the award winning block fitted this could be a winner.  Linky

With deep regret I am putting my much loved E36 M3 Evo for sale.  I’ve spent the last six months and a shed load of cash preparing this E36 for my annual Euro/Nurburgring trip in June.  Unfortunately it was never ready in time and thus I’ve decided to sell as I doubt I will be able to use the car in which it was intended.

Its a late 1999 Evo finished in Orinoco green, which was a individual option and quite rare.   I’ve been told it was an option on the late e34 M5s.  Its an amazing colour that will grow on you the more you look at it.

The interior is a complimentary light green vader seat interior which suits the car and really sets it off.

It has been in the hands of enthusiasts all its life and comes with a A4 folder full of almost every receipt/service invoice/MOT.  Included is a spare key and the valet key.

The main specs of the car:
1999 T reg
144k miles
Orinoco Green with light green vader seats
FSH
Harmon Kardon upgraded stereo system with Becker headunit

Upgrades and Modifications:
S54 engine fitted with under 25k miles
CSL headers/manifolds
Stainless decat e46 pipes
New Z3 1.9 quick steering rack
Eisenmann race rear exhaust
Evolve remap (includes deletion of various sensors/CAN as required to work in an E36)
BMC induction kit
Porsche 996 front calipers with CSL discs DS2500 pads
Porsche 996 rear calipers with e46 M3 discs DS2500 pads
Racing Blue brake fluid
HSD MonoPro coilovers
Eibach rear camber arms
Storm motorwerks gearknob
Used 18″ AC Schnitzer type II split rims with brand new Pirelli P-Zero Rosso tyres in M3 sizes.

Servicing and consumables replaced
Rebuilt E36 M3 Evo rear differential with E46 M3 Crown and Pinion 3.62 ratio fitted
Polybushed rear axle subframe
All hub bushes replaced with Lemforder spherical bearings
RTAB polybushed
FCAB polybushed
Undersealed
Oil change with Castrol Edge 10W60
OE oil filter
Gearbox oil changed
Diff oil changed
Racing Blue brake fluid
New AC condensor – AC system regassed
Coolant replaced
Samco coolant hoses fitted
All aux belt tensioners/idlers replaced
Sachs E46 M3 clutch replaced
Lemforder track and tie rods
Hunter four wheel alignment – set up for fast road/occasional track work

The S54 conversion was carried out in house and was based on a E46 M3 engine removed from an 2005 car that had been sourced from a well known member on M3cutters.
The car was dyno’d at Evolve and made 354 BHP consistently.  The only other modification I would add is there new induction kit with will add a few more horses.

The factory E36 Evo 6 speed gearbox was retained, it shifts super smooth and a true joy to shift from cold to hot.  We used an E46 clutch and its smooth and controllable.  In fact its really soft compared to the E36.

The factory clocks have been used and all functions prior to the conversion work including:
Oil temp
Functioning Sport button
Air conditioning – custom window switch utilised to ensure the AC cuts off at higher rpm
EOBD compliant – the ECU can be read with a generic code reader
Other systems can be still read using under bonnet socket as per E36.

Pretty much everything I’ve listed is brand new, even the brakes have not bedded in!

The car sounds EPIC and has a totally unique sound to it – very much unlike an E36 or E46 M3.  Its been described as a mini V10 noise.
Its smooth and comfortable, yet offers amazing handling and so much torque from the S54 engine.

1999 XJR. £3k

The best allround value for money car you can buy used? These things have 370bhp and will get to 60mph in under 5.5s, they look very cool, can seat four in comfort, and shouldn’t cost too much to run if you find a good one….this looks like a decent candidate.  Linky

I love these cars as there’s nothing for the money which will give the same luxury, elegance, power and handling combination. Almost as quick as a V8 BMW M5 (quicker actually for everyday driving) and will show a standard Impreza Turbo a clean pair of heels on a straight road. Effortless to drive and waft around in everyday. Even the mpg isn’t bad – 20-22 everyday; 27-30 on a run. Parts are inexpensive also – eg front discs and pads £90; full twin stainless exhaust only £350. And they’re going up in value as they become collectable. Note that these are a different beast to the earlier 322bhp XJR6 – the performance is is another league and if you’ve never driven one, it will blow you away!

Most desirable colour – anthractite black metallic with ivory leather and biscuit trim. 99k with FSH. Just MOTd and 4 months tax. Jaguar handbooks/leather wallet etc included. VOSA MOT history to warrant the mileage. HPI-clear, warranted.

More pics, just ask.

Great bodywork, largely rust-free and looks superb.

The interior is lovely and clean and tidy, very bright; a lovely place to sit even if you’re not actually going anywhere!

Mechanically I can’t fault it – it pulls really well in all gears, stops straight and cleanly. Just had a pair of f anti-roll bar bushes so nice quiet suspension, which is rare! XJR fans will know how strong these cars are, unlike the XJ8. This example has drilled vented disc brakes with ‘Brembo’ logo’d covers. It also recently has had new tyres all-round. I’ve just done a 300-mile run in it and it was effortless – I could easily have turned round and driven back. Twice!

These cars are amazingly quick when you need it with superb handling and body control, yet a pleasure to just waft too. A car which you can take the family out in or do the shopping or go on holiday, but which will match a BMW M5 V8 in power. Classic, timeless looks with modern reliability and cheap parts (eg a full stainless exhaust’s only c£250; f discs and pads c£90 delivered!). It’ll even double as a wedding car!

This car looks good in Anthractie Black Metallic with ivory leather and biscuit carpets. Admired and commented on by all the neighbours! The XJR is a model which always looks well, classic lines with time-less appeal.

With lots of options, here’s the equipment this car has:
Cost £55000. when new
370 bhp SUPERCHARGED 32-valve V8 engine (limited to 155mph, 0-60 in 5.3 sec.!)
5-speed auto.’box with manual option and sport button
CATS adaptive suspension
Sports power-assisted steering
18” Penta alloy wheels with locking nuts
ABS brakes and ASC traction control (you can switch it off if you’re mad enough to want to drift 16-foot of car…)
Ventilated disc brakes
Cruise control, with steering wheel controls
Twin front airbags, side airbags
Auto. headlights, with height adjust and ‘light-you-home’
Electric windows
Electric mirrors
Electric boot release (fob/internal button)
Electro-chromatic rear-view mirror
Illuminated vanity mirrors and map reading lights front and rear
Map pockets in seats
Individual ashtrays with cigar lighter
2 trip computers
Foglights
Digital climate control and aircon.(ice cold)
Heated front screen
Exterior temp. gauge
Sports leather seats, electrically adjustable (even the headrests!), with memory option
Jaguar electrically adjustable wood/leather steering wheel with stereo/cruise controls
Original Jaguar stereo with radio/tape and 6-disc CD changer in the boot
Remote central locking with factory alarm/immobiliser
Cup-holders
Sunglasses holder
Front and rear armrests
Footwell mats
Illuminated kerbside lights
Jaguar alarm/immobiliser

Overall, a very tidy and presentable Jaguar XJR for sensible money, which should look good and be reliable for a long time to come.  A useable super-saloon which you can enjoy straightaway…and a great investment with the values starting to rise.

I have quite a few XJRs in various specs/colours/trims/years/mileages, all I hope fairly priced, so if you’re after one I’ll do my best to help or advise as I do love the things!!!

No part-exes thanks. UK delivery an absolute pleasure at cost price (just the fuel at 30mpg and train fare home, eg Southampton £130.) – as I really enjoy driving these cars!

1972 Bike engined Bond Bug. £9k

I remember seeing a one of these parked near our house while I was growing up and remember thinking they looked very cool, they were retro even when they were ten years old. This one has obviously been owned by someone very meticulous….and a little bit mental! It has a Honda Fireblade engine fitted which will make for a real handful. I’d love to give it a go. Linky

Hi my name is bugRRme!
I’m in excellent condition & a proven road car (3 years on road & air)
Will piss most things off 0-60 3sec & surprisingly stable
Six speed sequential gearbox & before you ask about reverse no because on a flat surface ie”at pub” it takes 2 fingers to push her (or scoot it while you’re sitting in it!)
Using “the up yours” 2 finger method everyone around watches in amazement (damn cool)
& NO doors as you need the air with the engine open in a tiny area with you but because of the wedge of cheddar cheese shape you don’t get the wind coming in
Deffo NOT for the SCREAMish with NO safety at all ie like a M/bike
Insurance is limited mileage fully comp £125 as long as you’re an adult
PS: passenger to be comfortable will need a right leg amputation but don’t worry I used to be a Gynecologist in my spare time so I can get this done on the cheap
Ear plugs supplied foc & a MUST
NO dreamers
NO joyriders/kids test pilots etc
I can be persuaded for you to be a passenger in the old girl BUT you must have the dosh in your pocket and a medical certificate with NO heart probs
& bring a spare pair of undies!
ps miles are what the engine has done, car mileage not known BUT rebuilt anyways
